Saving Space By Cleaning Windows SxS Folder

Windows has got a folder which is known as WinSxS for storing the files which are required for the installation of the Windows. The stored files can also be used for backups and updates to those files. However with each update the size of the WinSxS folder increases and you need to clean it up from the unnecessary files and regain the hard drive space.In WinSxS folder you can not delete all the files as there are precious files which are needed for running and updating the Windows reliably. From Windows 7 onwards there is a built-in Disk Cleanup tool for deleting the older versions of Windows updates which are no longer required. Deleting Older Updates from WinSxS Folder by Disk Cleanup

  • 1st of all open Disk Clean Tool. For opening the tool type “disk cleanup” in the taskbar and then clicking “Disk Cleanup.”
  • Now click the Cleanup System Files button.
  • Now you have to check the box located next to Windows Update Cleanup.
  • Now click on OK. Now if you dont see Windows Update Cleanup option in Disk Cleanup it means there are no files to delete.

Cleaning Win SxS Folder by Using Command Prompt.

  • In order to clean WinSxS folder with the use of Command Prompt follow these steps.
  • Launch the command prompt with the Admin priviledges.
  • Now Enter the Command: Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup.
  • Now if recommended clean up the folder by using the following command in the Command prompt: Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup.

With this command the cleanup process will start and it may take some time.

Enabling and Disabling The Tablet Mode in Windows 10

The main cause of concern for the users in Windows 8 is the absence of Start screen. In order to counter the frustration of the users Windows 10 has introduced Tablet Mode. Tablet mode in Windows 10 provides a very touch friendly experience in order to make all of the applications to run on full screen and it also gives you the Start Screen instead of Start Menu. Windows 10 always asks the users for entering into the Tablet Mode whenever you want to convert the notebook into a slate. You can also learn about Blending Images in Adobe Photoshop. In order to enable or disable the Tablet Mode you need to perform these basic actions.

  • 1st of all you are required to go to the Tablet Mode tab and for that you need to go to Settings>System.
  • Now is the time to toggle the “Make Windows more touch friendly” option ON or OFF.
  • Now you need to select whether the device switches the mode automatically, prompts you or never switches.

Now for enabling and disabling the Tablet mode you need to follow these steps.

  • 1st of all go to the Start Menu and the click on Settings.
  • Now you need to click on System.
  • Now you have to select the Tablet Mode from the left pane and after this a Tablet mode submenu will appear.
  • Now toggle “Make Windows more touch friendly…” to ON in order to enable the Tablet mode.
  • Now go to the desktop mode and you need to toggle it OFF.
  • Now in the next step select “Don’t ask me and always switch” from the “When this device automatically switches” menu.

Blending Images in Adobe Photoshop

It seems like nothing is impossible while using Adobe Photoshop. With Photoshop you can easily blend two face into one. For blending two different images into one you can use Face Morphing technique. You can also learn about Rasterizing the Text in Adobe Photoshop.

In order to blend two faces into one you need to follow these steps.

  • 1st of all you need to open the first photo.
  • Once 1st photo is opened now you need to open the 2nd image which you need to blend with 1st one.
  • Now select the Rectangular Marquee Tool and then drag it over the image.
  • Now select the face area precisely. Once the area is selected press Ctrl+C from your keyboard.
  • Now go to the 1st image and than press Ctrl+V to paste the 2nd image.
  • Now press Ctrl+T in order to transform it to smaller size.
  • Now drag it to from the corners after the transformation in order to make it proportional.
  • Press Enter to apply the size as well as transformation.
  • Now select the Magic Wand Tool and select the background by holding Shift key.
  • Now press Delete button to remove the background.
  • Retouch the image with Eraser tool.
  • Set the 2nd image in front of the 1st photo. And use Move Tool in order to move it.
  • Now transform it again in order to set it perfectly before the 1st photo.
  • Now move to the layer window and double click the 1st photo layer. Click OK.
  • Now Align both the layers of photo.
  • Now you have to make some adjustments and for that you need to go to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation.
  • Now adjust the hue and saturation of 1st photo so that it become similar to hue and saturation of 2nd image.
  • Now erase different parts of the face from the 1st image in order to bring forth the 2nd image.
  • You comes the morphing stage and for that you need to use Stamp Tool.
  • Stamp Tool is use for retouching your newly created image.
  • Once you are done with the retouching you are done and both the images are blended successfully.
